About XIME Kochi

Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Kochi, one of the top-ranking B-Schools in India was founded by a group of distinguished academicians and professionals led by Prof.J.Philip, former Director of IIM Bangalore and former Dean of XLRI, Jamshedpur. XIME has three campuses – the first one set up in Bangalore, followed by the Kochi campus and the latest addition – Chennai campus. All campuses follow a common curriculum, centralised admissions and centralised placements and follow the - One institution- three campuses rule, with a common set of guidelines and practices followed in each campus. The Kochi campus started its journey of excellence in the year 2013, offering PGDM programme with specialisation in Finance, Marketing, HR, Analytics and Operations. Located in the heart of the Hi-Tech Park in Kalamassery, near to the much celebrated Start-up Village, XIME Kochi’s campus is best suited for regular industry interactions. With emphasis on quality education and “best-in-class” placement, XIME builds insightful leaders of tomorrow.

Program Educational Objectives

The PGDM postgraduates of XIME-Kochi are expected to achieve or attain the following Program Educational Objectives within five years of completion of the program.

PEO1 : The students will be able to assume managerial roles in business, industrial, or other organizations and/or undertake entrepreneurial ventures that would drive economic growth and technological innovation in the country.
PEO2: The students will attain all-around professional and personal development by dint of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities combined with soft skills.
PEO3: The students will imbibe the best Corporate Governance practices and have it in them to take decisions upholding high societal values and professional ethics.
PEO4: The students will be proficient in teamwork as future managers with a global perspective as well as the potential to achieve organizational goals while having the mindset to act responsibly towards all stakeholders.

XIME's Milestone

2024

MoU signed with a German Multinational Company – Knorr Bremse Technology Centre (I) Pvt. Ltd. Knorr-Bremse Group, based in Munich, is the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems and a leading supplier of safety-critical sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles.

XIME Kochi is empanelled as Consultant by Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

MoU signed with Brest Business School, France for academic collaboration and student exchange.

India's first "Earn While You Learn" summit was organised that saw a registration of over 1000 students across India.

2023

MoUs were signed with Adelaide Business School, Australia and De La Salle University, Philippines

2022

XIME Kochi initiated talks for partnership with the Adelaide Business School, Australia and De La Salle University, Philippines

2021

XIME Kochi signed four MoUs with Tata Consultancy, Maker Village, The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) and St. Pauls College Kalamassery aimed for the collaboration of knowledge transfer, academic research and skill development.

2020

Xavier Leadership Centre was establised at the XIME Kochi campus to provide integrated and holistic training in leaderhip skills.

2019

XIME Kochi signed an agreement with Kerala Start-up Mission (KSUM) to facilitate live projects.

2018

XIME wins again the prestigious National Campionship Award of AIMA - Ms.Jassica Mathias and Ms.Kamala Sundaresan.

2017

Commenced first batch of XIME Chennai with an intake of 59 sudents.

XIME is ranked the 50th Best B-School in the country by NIRF study, MHRD.

2016

As a part of XIME's Silver Jubilee Celebrations, the Incubation centre at XIME was inaugurated on 21st March, 2016 by Prof. Larry Cox, Associate Professor and Lead Faculty, Entrepreneurship Programs, Graziadio School of Business and Management, Pepperdine University, USA. The Incubation Centre started with 3 incubatees: Tellofy, Trilya and Varsito.

2015

Foundation stone laid for XIME's new campus in Chennai.

XIME's Silver Jubilee Year Celebrations begin.

2014

Twenty years of XIME first PGDM batch celebrated.

XIME receives the Global Business Accreditation from the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Program (ACBSP), USA.

2013

XIME Kochi campus was inaugurated. First batch started with the intake of 52 students.
